ActivateSwag was founded in 2015 in a college apartment. The way companies bought swag was broken — fragmented vendors, opaque pricing, no accountability — and we wanted to fix it.
Our first bid was for World Youth Day in Krakow, the largest recurring event hosted by the Catholic Church.
We won.
3.2 million products, 625,000 kits, and 88 shipping containers delivered on deadline to two million pilgrims from 187 countries. On stage in front of all of them, our founder handed Pope Francis a custom-designed pilgrim backpack — the first product ActivateSwag ever made.
